Dizzy spells at 3 weeks post-op

No - I wasn't and my pain wasn't intolerable either. I *was* bleeding heavier than he thought I should have been but that seems so subjective here. I wasn't anywhere near a pad an hour that some Dr's here reference, but my Dr is maybe more cautious. MY symptoms were a fever, lethargy and I just had a genreral overall feeling of being unwell - like I was about to get really, really sick. I had some tenderness in my cuff when he examined but it wasn't horrible. Like I said by the time I had my CT one week of antibiotics were behind me and I was feeling better but still tired. I was surprised that it still showed the cellulitis. I'm still a little bit concerned with the one this Friday because my bladder still feels funny. The cellulitis causes swelling which can press on the bladder. I'm hoping I don't still have it and that's why my bladder is icky. He said if it is unchanged or worse I have to do the hospital IV antibiotic thing. I'm crossing my fingers for good news!!

Let me know what he says!! I hope he helps you out!

Hugs,

One other thought Michelle and that is I wonder if the cellulitis can be interior like on the abdomen side or exterior like on the vagina side of the cuff. If so, that may be why you had smelly discharge and I didn't. Maybe our infections are on opposite sides of the cuff.

Just a thought!

Thank you so much for the information. I called my surgeon this morning and low and behold, it is her day off. She will call me tomorrow.

My pain has been better since antibiotics, prior to them I didn't know if I wanted to make it through this recovery it was so bad. I know exactly what you are describing when you talk about your bladder being icky.

Keep me posted on how your CT scan turns out Friday.
