back pain

I was told that the back pain was from having both ovaries removed? Anyone else heard that? Mine started day after the surgery and comes and goes.

back pain anyone?

I have had the same type of back pain and my ovaries were not removed. I am thinking is is from all the manuel manipulation involved.

back pain anyone?

I had lower back pain, even in the hospital. It helps to put a pillow under my knees. I also think it's because it's hard, due to my incision, to stand up totally straight. I was much more active today than yesterday (nothing really physical, mostly just puttering around the house doing small, odd jobs) and it actually feels better. Yesterday, I spent far too much time lying on the couch. It seems that lying around too much aggravates it. My swelly belly band hasn't arrived yet, so I've been using a 3M neoprene sleeve that holds a cold pack and velcros around my waist. It helps to tighten it so it puts gentle pressure on my abdomen & lower back & supports my now weak and sagging tummy. It's meant to wrap around a torso to cool a shoulder injury, but it works great.
