Endometriosis like pains 18 days after laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy (LSH!!

OH MY GOODNESS!! I was fine this morning then went into my daughters room and got caught up in dancing (very slowly and gently) with her. One hour later I am in serious pain (feels like the endomertiosis pain ). Did I mess up or what!! I feel like I was hit by a brick down there. I have also just started the discharge that everyone has been talking about a few days ago. Can someone explain to me what it should look like? It does not have a smell so I hope everything is alright, I think I may need to call my doctor about this pain. What do you think??

I would give the Dr. a call just to make sure all is well. If you were dancing slowly and didn't twist or turn sharply or abruptly, I don't see how you could have hurt yourself.

I can't comment on the discharge as I haven't even had the slightest amount of bleeding, for the exception of one spot (literally) the day of surgery.

I hope you feel better! Do call the Dr.

Endometriosis like pains 18 days after laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy (LSH!!

I had bouts of abdominal pains and shooting pain in the pelvic floor for about 2 months if I over did it at all. And it was not always from things on the no no list. Just standing and working at my craft table for a while could cause hours or a day of pain. It felt like stitches pulling apart inside alot of time even weeks and weeks after surgery so it was all healing well. It just hurt.

I agree about calling the doc. Hope you feel better soon.

Hiya,
I'm 20 days out from the same procedure as you. I also had bladder surgery. Two days ago I thought I could carry a couple of very light (couldn't have been more than 6-8 lbs. for both) grocery bags up from the car. I carried them up 1 flight of stairs. Within minutes I felt like someone had punched me in the area where my uterus was.
I guess even though we feel pretty good, we have to be extra careful. It's hard though, isn't it?

i doubt you did any damage by moving slowly. i had an lsh and was released for all activity at 2 weeks. i do think you should let your dr know though..he should know about any pain/discharge thats new.
