Sex after hyst...ughhh anyone else?

Janelle,

Hi there! I read your post about your cuff opening and ever since I can't get it out of my head. Were there any signs that it wasn't healed correctly?

I think my doc will want me to wait 6 weeks before sex, but not sure, will ask monday. But you waited 6 weeks and still had an issue. IS there a way to know that it isn't done healing?

Thanks! Sorry to bring up a bad memory for ya!

I have talked to others who have said the cream really works. since my situation is inconclusive, I am going to use the estrace cream sparingly and see how that goes. I will definitely let you know.

I am sorry you have had to deal with this ****....especially two surgeries so close together.

The doctor told me at my 4-week that I could resume relations at 6 weeks, which will be Monday. I'm scared to death. I've never had any bleeding, discharge, or any signs that the stitches are dissolving and that worries me. I keep thinking, what if I'm not healed yet? Everything was still healing at the 4-week appointment and that was my final appointment with my doctor.
