No internal exam at 6 week check-up?

I, like you, wasn't checked inside at 6 weeks, but I was scheduled for a nine-week exam and it was done at that time. THEN I was cleared for all activities.
It sounds odd not to get checked inside. I would ask.

No internal exam at 6 week check-up?

I think I was rushed too.

I had a check up at 3 weeks and had a internal exam. Dr said stitches was healing good. He said he would see me in 3 months!! No sex for 3 weeks and no bath for a least another week. I told me that was scheduled to go back to work on Jan 2.

No urine test. He didn't touch my belly or look at it (LAVH). I had to stop him at the door about my pathology report.

Don't I need to a work release form signed??

No internal exam at 6 week check-up?

I went to my 4 week check up about 1 1/2 weeks ago and he did a vaginal then, He said to ease back into things, no sex until 6 weeks and no lifting anything over 20lbs. Then told me not to come back for 6 months. As I was leaving the nurse said for me to come back at 4 weeks for another check just to be sure. I was glad she said to come back. I thought 6 months was to long. Although he said that everything was healing great and I could resume subbing at my child school only a few days a week. This was at 4 weeks. I did not go back to subbing until this Wednesday 1/2 day. I am also going to be there for my friend on friday who is a secretary.
I to agree so many different opinions for the same basic surgery.
As far as I can see it, We should still take it easy on somethings. Our bodies really take about 6 months to heal completely.
