Swelling...

I had a TAH five weeks ago and I'm still very swollen and can't button my jeans.

As far as the appointments go, I had a two week check up but no pelvic exam. My next check up is Wednesday (for my six weeks, I guess). not sure if he'll want to do one then or not. Part of me hopes so, just to make sure everything is okay in there!

Swelling...

At my 4 wk post op on Tues. I was told it could take months for swelly belly to go down. I went to homopath on Thurs. and among other things got a low level diuretic to help speed it up a little bit. I wake up several times a night to pee and homopath said it is my body cleansing itself of surgery stuff and the heat I feel right after is also a part of this. I had lost 20 lbs. at 21 days and it is still off. I think the swelling could be good for at least 5 more lbs.
