I can only give you empathy...

I had some massive mood issues around week 3 or so... no freak out over the loss of uterus, just freak outs in general. Wholly irrational thoughts that just send me reeling (and everyone else running!). Once I was a week or so into hormone therapy (Premarin) to kick-start my ovaries, things started to even out. Not saying the irrational thoughts and outbursts don't still occur - just that they are not so pronounced.

I am going to ride this out thru the scrip refills and see what happens. But you are not alone - it IS some roller coaster, eh?

Hope this helps!

I am so sorry that your having such a hard time. You had your surgery not long after mine and I can relate to the panic disorder. My son suffers from the same thing and my heart goes out to you and all that you have had to contend with.

You have been dealing with major surgery, hormones gone caddywampus, children that need you and a miriad of many other things. I want you to know that no matter what, you will ALWAYS be the protector of those children even if you don't have your uterus! I remember reading alot of your previous posts and you always thought of your kids before yourself. You have my admiration and deep respect.

I think that the massive mood swings, and feelings of loss are very normal and will probably come and go till your body is back to normal. Know however, that we are all here to support and not judge so if you need to talk or PM any of us feel free to do so. Cyber hugs and shoulders abound on this site!

You have my best wishes.

I am so glad to see that you have came back to post.
I have never had a panic attack -- so in that ballpark -- I can not relate.

I just want to give you some hugs

Take a big deep breathe and know the path that you are on -- you really are not alone. We are all here to help and support you.

As a single mom -- you are the protector of your boys. I am sure that you have set some good values for them.

But from my rose colored squed view of the world. Maybe rather than dwell that you lost your protecting uterus for your boys -- realize that they out grew that play yard and you now have the opprotunity to help them in their new playyard of life. Life is about expanding our boundrarys and taking it to the next step. So you now get to create the next boundrary for them--

My thoughts prayers and love are with you

Just so you know -- you are my hero -- singles moms ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
