Morning all. its my day off and snowing like crazy here. supposed to get up to 6 inches or more. ds has day off and wishes i was at work, told him funny, cause i wish he was at school. lol.

so annie- did you night work out, ok? our 'HBI evening' went well. the wine helped. we took it slow. Ive barely cried since surgery (which is odd for me) But i bawled like a baby right after. dh thought i was hurting. i said no just relieved all equipt. was working. After the test drive, im much more relaxed going on our night getaway on Saturday! and I slept like a log after- just what the dh ordered. lol. On the lube issue, we've always used it so no different there (TMI- but we like the glide--)

suzyq- are you still considering trying pilates? I had terrible sciatica from the uterus and fibroid and it really helped with my other lower back issues before surgery. hey i just realized i can do pilates today- its six weeks.

Hi ladies....maybe today was a one step back day...a little discouraging....I am going back to work Mon so I expect to be better each day...today by 9:30 AM couldn't keep my eyes open...fell asleep until like 11:30!!!! Even my naps were generally not 2 hours...other than tired I am feeling OK. I thought I slept OK last night but maybe I was up more than I thought. I did go to the bathroom twice then stayed up until the alarm went off to wake up the kids....

I perked up a bit this afternoon and did 15 minutes on the elliptical and organized some papers and got ready to pay some bills....ordered in chinese food (now that uses energy) and really enjoyed the food.....
Now I decided I am too bleary eyed to write the bills because that involves figuring out how much to pay here, what to hold off with...you know that peter paul thing. Tomorrow morning when my brain is working I will actully write the checks

Tomorrow I am supposed to meet a friend for a late breakfast and then meet another friend and hopefully go to the gym...have done all my exercises at home so will see what it feels like to be back there. I actually need to go through my school bag before I go back to work, who knows what I brought home to do before I went back....only have the weekend left.

Today from QVC I got my honeybells, my two quilted pillow shams and my vitamins....love it when I get packages...it makes up for the presents my kids never get me....

It seems like no matter how many times I organize my room, throw stuff away, or move stuff around it still looks cluttered....anyone else have that issue...work pile, bill pile....papers that I don't know where to put pile....,etc.

Anyway ladies I hope you all have a lovely evening....I will play on computer, watch tv and probably not be more constructive than that tonight... - Suzyq

I went to Curves again, and even going slowly, I found it a little easier -- plus I did the full set of cool-downs, including the ones on the floor. I also tried going without the pillow between me and the seat belt, and I did just fine. Still taking some good naps, though.

Another small achievement; before the surgery I couldn't rest my foot on my knee to tie my shoes without getting winded, and now I can!

TTYL -- DH and I have a date -- George Carlin is playing a sold-out concert at our local performing arts center!

suzyq.... I am much like you piles, piles everywhere! Driving me crazy. There are piles in the kitchen, piles on my scrapbooking table, piles in my bedroom... where does it end.....where did it all come from. It continues to grow and grow no matter how much I thought I had gotten rid of.

I am returning to work Sunday night and am starting to have a little frustration as there is so much that I would like to get accomplished around the house before returning. But didn't really feel I could do what I wanted until after being released by the doctor and not wanting to push things too much. Oh well, it will always be there, if not, other things to do later.

Sweet dreams all.... here's to hopefully a restful night to all.

Hi ladies..

Can't sleep so thought I'd check in on you girls! LOL Spent most of the day organizing. I have my "man maid" coming tomorrow to clean!! Yes, I have a man that cleans my house and he's awesome!! BUT, it always helps if I do a little pre-cleaning before he comes so he can concentrate on cleaning and not just picking up all our messes!

Fit&Ready.... I made it too!! Yea! Like you, we used extra lube and were pretty careful. Actually, it was hard for me to really relax and "get into it" (tmi? sorry!), because it felt a little like we were kids doing it for the first time and veering into "unknown territory"!! He kept asking if I was alright, was I hurting? etc... I have the sweetest dh, and I love being intimate with him so I think we were both just so relieved that it all still works!!! ha! I'm sure it will just get better and better.

I too, had bad lower back pain, and sciatica from my fibroids pressing against my spine before surgery..... I thought about trying pilates. I hope that helps!! I'm still thinking I'm going to need to go back to the chiropractor soon....

dh and i actually have a date planned for tonight.... going to Fleming's Steak House with another couple. We never go to really fancy restaurants but someone gave us a gift certificate so we thought we should use it. I have a hard time paying $100 for a meal anywhere!! Even when we are on tour and have radio people or promoters paying for our dinners, it just seems like such a waste of money to me..... i mean there are SO many good restaurants where I can eat and usually enjoy the food just as much for ALOT less!! But, I guess it's fun to treat yourself now and then. Plus I haven't had the occasion to get all dressed up for dh in awhile!!

OK, suzyq... we are all DYING to know... what in the world are honeybells?!?!? LOL
