Wow...just got my computer replaced after missing everything for the last 2+ months, and boy have I missed a lot.
I'm back at work and now on HRT, Premarin. My first week back involved the NIU shootings, a driver who drove off a construction site, into tollway traffic, and the FLU season. I wanted to be back home so badly.
But just reading briefly the last few pages, you guys are having a bad streak more so than I.
I hope things come about for you all. I'll be checking regularly, and am here to vent if you need too. Otherwise, I'll send my hopes and prayers your way.

Hello everyone. I am feeling a lot better emotionally. I gave in and called the doctor because the pain has been unbareable. I had a CT SCAN on thursday so I will not know anything until tomorrow. Strange thing is....I have to do the harvard prep (50MG PREDNISONE 13 hrs before, then 7 hours before, and then 1 hour before) because I am allergic to shellfish (IODINE). After taking the prednisone all of the swelling went down and the pain went away. Then yesterday which would be two days later I started swelling and having pain again?????? IF anyone has any ideas that would be great.
Good news is that I felt good long enough to have an HBI with DH. That was much needed. LOL

Back to work tomorrow. Another week in the sales office. ARGHHH

i missed something. Theres a housekeeping thread now?
my first rule, living with three men, always blame the guy...(besides if i dont they all gang up on me!)
just had one of those lovely knock down drag outs with ds. hes going to be 18 on thursday, and feels we have too many rules. I remember this with my oldest too. yipee. I told him his laundry, lunch, car insurance were all his then...funny how all of a sudden - hes like -oh thats not what i meant.
I know i shouldnt have, but i just lost it. Actually dh held it together and calmed me down for a change.
we seemed to resolve a few things, but im sure its just the beginning of another one of lifes chapters...

Dear fit and ready
Just had the same thing happen with dd #2. This is her first year away and she finds that when she comes home we ask too many questions. Don't you know she is all grown up now and can handle things. We do the horrible thing of asking if she is studying, or God forbid, if she sleeps in, is she feeling alright!!!I can't wait for the summer. I think another hysterectomy would be easier!!!!

Bethany, Steroids help inflamation. They basically make your immunce system sleep. If one big course of steroids could make the pain go away I think that is a big clue. It came back because you stop taking the steroids. The swelling is just another sign something is inflamed. Please tell the doctors office what the steroids did for you. Also what did the CT show??

Molief, I divorced when my children were 10,7 and 1. I think the divorce is one of the healthiest things I ever did for myself or my kids. I told them in the strongest way possible that mine and their Dad's relationship was bad and they should not look to replicate it ! I also am thousands of times happier now that I am not constantly being beaten down by my ex and that makes me a better parent. I prayed for year for God to make me a good wife, but in reality it really does take two to make or save a marriage. Life really is too short to live in unhappiness.

Just my two cents. Sending all those struggling hugs and prayers!! Beth
