Thanks soprano!! Yes, I'm still struggling with my breath support. My back has been killing me too and my trainer says it's because my abs are still so out of shape that my back is doing all the work to hold me up!! I'm going to try a class at the gym that is supposed to be a combination Yoga/Pilates class. I think the Yoga will be good for my back and hopefully the Pilates will help with my breath support.

Good luck.... and happy singing!!

Well, just checking in with you girls. I am still suffering with this stupid terminal ileitis? (crohns). I am taking this medication called Entocort but it just does not seem to be working. I have been on a low residue diet for a month and it stinks. O'well ...end of pity party. Everyone sounds like they are doing so well.

I need to go back to the YMCA ---I am so out of shape my legs look like the trunk of a tree with all the cellulite LOL>

Started back to taking my classes online. 9 credit hours left until graduation in July. Yippeeee! Maybe I will make more money!

Talk to you all later.

Hello ladies.....I haven't received any e-mail posting reminders until last night!!!! I am trying to lose weight, have worked up at the gym and am exhausing m yself at work.... for the most part I am feeling better but it is amazing as healed as we think we are....at the gym it is easy to move ina way that still fells a pinch or a pull. Sometimes the skin feels funky...numb is some spots and pinchy in others...

I am hoping to have my tummy tuck this summer if all goes well. We live in a great country where you can get a loan for anything!!!!!!

My teenagers are still high maintenance and so I can safely say life is mostly back to normal....

Lets keep in touch sisters.....missing our daily chats...your sista' Suzyq

Not getting reminders again either!
annie and soprano- you know i cant hold a tune, and not sure if this pertains, but I get so out of breath when a work out hard. I never had this before. Is this simulair to what singers go through belting out that big note? and is it the effects of the surgery yet

suzq, i wonder if i could tell my ds im gettting a tummy tuck instead of buying him a new trombone for graduation? at least id have half the cost. lol. not thinking it will fly though.
we are down to the home stretch with less than a month before his last day of high school and now im getting sentimental. I think with all his mental turmoil this year- i havent had time to really feel the emotions about it til now.

I don't know Fit, could just be a lack of tone in lower abs.

I'm feeling better overall, but instead of feeling like a rock, my abdomen will just be sore, so I take it to be an improvement. Energy much better, but still love my naps!

It is really nice out today and I am here at work looking at engineering specs for manufacturing labels wanting to toss them out the window.

My 7 year old starts flag football on Sunday and I am looking forward to a reason to be active again with the kids. Its hard to get out when the weather is cold.

My DH today called and teased that he had some fresh strawberries and pineapple from the grocery salad bar.....how jealous I am. I cant eat that stuff until I am in remission. I told him he was the devil and laughed. LOL

Gardened yesterday........fertilized just now, before the rain comes in. Had to cancel St Louis drag racing trip for this weekend because of rain....BUMMER. (We might be able to tune and test in Byron-Sunday.) Oh well, gives me time around here to ready for my Breast Cancer 3day sale on the 27th. I too miss the princess days, although my DH still treats me as if I'm queen for a day. There just never seems to be enough time, when before there was nothing but time.
Spring has sprung, enjoy sisters!!!

I could enjoy the spring more if the wind stops! Just when things get warmed up, then we have a cold spell and the wind just BLOWS. We had gusts of 40 MPH+ and blowing sand on Tuesday. Fortunately it's been nice the past 2 days but the winds might be starting again. But by the time the wind stops, it will be summer, and temps will be in the 90s and beyond.
