I'm so tired!!!

Hi Pauline Texas, I am confused too, my OB wont give me any progesterone either, but after reading the info at this site and on the web, progesterone can actually help estrogen distribute better so there is less chance of estrogen dominance, so I am still on the fence about not taking progesterone. I read that estrogen dominance is not a good thing, if you read up on estrogen dominance you will see my concerns! I'm so confused!!! I know parts of us no longer need progesterone having no uterus left, Isnt progesterone in charge of telling the uterus lining to slough each month? ...but progesterone has other great properties too, my question is if our reproduction parts are all removed does the body still make progesterone from other glands? Same with Testosterone if we no longer have no reproduction parts does our bodies still provide a bit of progesterone and testosterone? Common sense tells ME NO, but I have not found research saying either way anyone help? I mean to me the studies they do with women with reproduction parts and those without reproduction parts really cant be a true study, if the reproduction parts ladies still make some progesterone even if just a little and we ladies without reproduction parts don't? Giving them some and us some really cant compare if we have stopped making it all together? Why and how can they compare the two? I'm confused, its like comparing apples to oranges. Now if there was a study with 100% ladies with no reproduction parts 50% using progesterone/estrogen and 50% using estrogen alone, then I can see a true study, this studying of women with reproduction parts taking progesterone and the ladies without reproduction parts NOT taking progesterone seems an odd way of deciding what is right for all of us.... I'm I confusing everyone now too???
