Sisters,
I have a burning sensation in and around the lips of my....you know. I'm pretty sure it is not a yeast infection, it is not itchy. What can I put on it to help?
Thanks for your help!

You could try Vagisil. I would still call your doctor, though. It could be the beginning of an infection, and you're just not fully symptomatic yet.

Before using any over the counter product, I would suggest calling your doctor's office and letting them know what is going on. There are multiple reasons why you could feel burning so you want to be sure you treat it correctly.

Are you drinking enough water right while you are healing? Do you have any other symptoms that could be a UTI? Have you noticed a change in your hormones since surgery that is causing some vaginal dryness?

Let us know what your doctor says! in there! s

it could be a yeast infection without the discharge, dryness or a bacterial infection. i'd definitely call the dr if i were you. i wouldnt put anything on the outside until you check with him since you just had your surgery.

i HAD BURNING TOO....not sure why. I had thrush in my mouth, yeast in my belly button, but no yeast down there.

I thought maybe it was from pulling my va-jay-jay out down there?
