hollyjolly i would mention it to you dr. i had similar symptoms start 2 weeks post op , i didnt think it was any thing serious right away but after going for testing, i had a vesicovaginal fistula. this is probably not the case with you but get it checked out right away to be sure. i went immediately for testing and had a catheter in for a month and lucky for me it closed on its own.take care

Urinary Incontinence

I'm almost 3 weeks post op and have the following:
- leakage in the morning before I can empty my bladder
-weird twinges in bladder area and towards the "end" of when I think I am finished emptying my bladder then...a bit more leaks out!
-pink urine--towards the end of day--or pink on toilet paper after urinating
-general uncomfortable feeling in terms of knowing when I really need to go and not--sometimes I feel like I have to and only a little comes out!

I hope it goes away--I've been doing the kegel exercises too but not sure they help with this? I am also drinking a ton of water!

Anyways, Happy New Year!

You know...I keep having pink on the paper and I just didn't know if I was "spotting". Also "wetness" in the morning when I get up.

Urinary Incontinence

I'm calling my surgeon's office tomorrow to ask about the pink on the paper to see if I need to be concerned three weeks post op about having this. I don't feel "sick" so I am thinkingn it isn't bladder related but perhaps normal leakage from vaginal area???? I hope that I don't have to deal with pink spotting every day --that would be ironic--no more periods but just pink spotting every day???!!!!!! I sure hope not! I'll let you know what my doc says tomorrow.

I had pink on the paper spotting through my 7th week. Now in my 8th week it has resolved. At my 6 week he told me I wasn't totally healed and that was why.

Good Luck!

Thank you for this---it is a worry and you think because you feel pretty good generally that you are healed--then you get the pink leaky stuff and begin to wonder when you really will be okay!
