When can I wear my jeans???

Okay, I'm tired of the comfy clothes. I basically have 3 velour jogging suits I am rotating. I'm 2 weeks post op and want to wear my jeans! I'm afraid my belly either won't fit in them or they will hurt my small incisions (from LAVH). How long did it take to get back in your jeans?

When can I wear my jeans???

I feel for you. I went throught the same issue. It might take some time. It took six weeks for me to fit back in my jeans. When you do try to wear jeans again, try stretch jeans. They are more comfy on your tummy.

When can I wear my jeans???

I was wearing mine at 4 weeks. I couldn't wear them all day at that point thoguh but I could for a few hours. Now at 6 weeks I can pretty much wear them all day.

When can I wear my jeans???

I agree. I'm tired of my comfy clothes. It's funny because I have to wear suits or other business clothes at work and the first thing I do when I get home is put on comfy clothes. Now I'm sick of comfy clothes, although I'm not ready for suits yet.

When can I wear my jeans???

I refused to wear sweat pants to thanksgiving dinner, and wore my jeans. They were very tight, and I was very sore afterwards. I still had several protest days after that, and as long as I am not sitting (like in a car) for long periods of time its ok. I have no problems now wearing for short car distances, or walking around.

However, we are probably going away this weekend, and I guarentee I'll be wearing sweats in the car. The extreme uncomfortablness of a two hour car ride in my tight jeans lingers in my mind

I could have written this post.

We are going to the mall to get the kids' pics taken. I wanna wear jeans, I also have three velour sweat outfits I am rotating. LOL!

I wore jeans MOnday to my 2 week appointment....they were the stretchy kind....OUCH!!!!

I am going to try it again today....maybe they just need to stretch first?

LOL!

When can I wear my jeans???

I's so glad you all are feeling the same way. I wore my light pink sweats to a Christmas party yesterday at the school I teach at. Everyone looked cute and festive and I looked like a granny!

When can I wear my jeans???

I was just thinking the same thing. I have two pairs of sweat pants and a bunch of sweat shirts that I keep rotating. I had LSH and I still have some steri-strips so I really don't want to aggravate anything, but I was a little self-conscience going into the drug store today in my sweats. Normally I would never go out in sweats! I guess we just have to be gentle with ourselves.

When can I wear my jeans???

Okay, so I ALSO have the 3 velour seat suits I've been rotating (along with a load of comfy lounging pants). I tried to wear my Chinos yesterday (I don't think I could get into my jeans). They fit fine, but my tummy has been extra sensitive to the touch the last few days (nerves growing back, I guess). So, it was quite uncomfortable feeling my pants rubbing on my tummy. Back in my lounging pants today!

When can I wear my jeans???

Went Christmas shopping today. My jeans lasted from the shower to downstairs. Gave up and put the black track pants on with a turtleneck, cute vest and running shoes. My sister said I looked like I just was on my way to the gym (I wish) However while I was in Wal-mart I did find a great pair of maternity pants! (on sale too) Look like yoga pants with a wide roll down waist band. Soft, comfy and wearable after I can get back into my jeans!
