When can I wear my jeans???

I was able to get into some of my jeans at 3 weeks -- but i had also lost 15 pounds -- i have one pair that are tight even now -- maybe after the first of the year i can get into those.

Maternity pants may be the answer

Great idea about maternity pants!
I am seriously thinking about going to look for some maternity jeans. At least I could wear cute tops and shoes with them.

Tight jeans!

OK.. I'm almost 8 weeks post-op and still struggling with wearing my jeans. I can wear a pair to work now but by the end of the day I am searching for my lounge pants. I only have about 2 pair from my pre-op that I can even get on. I'm convinced my butt has spread 2 sizes! I've been afraid to actually weigh myself. Doc still has not green lighted me for all exercise.. but I have asked Santa for an elliptical machine to work out on.. maybe January will find me back on track. All this is especially frustrating since I spent the last few years losing 55 lbs and trying to keep it off... now swelly belly, no exercise, and hormone therapy.. I'm scared there is no hope!

When can I wear my jeans???

I was able to wear my jeans 1 week post-op, only because I been dealing with HUGE fibroids this last year or so. Even with the swelly belly, my belly is smaller than with the fibroids. I find that I like the extra support that the jeans provide, but I can only wear them for a few hours and then it's back to comfy pajama pants for the rest of the day.

When can I wear my jeans???

I was able to wear my jeans at 4 wks I lost 20 lbs but still have swelly belly, I will be down at least a size when that goes away. Put a stick on pad at the location of your incision stuck to your underwear. It will give you some cushion. TAH/BSO I wore my jeans today and it was alright, but my incision is heavy after a full day. But because of the outfit I wore today I felt as normal as I have felt in 6 or 7 wks.

When can I wear my jeans???

I tried my Levi's on, and I could get them zipped and buttoned, but they didn't feel so good so I'm not going to wear them anytime soon.

I'm wearing the velour athletic pants, too - I have them in purple, black and grey. Thought about sending DH to the store to buy a couple more pairs, maybe navy and brown.

For Christmas, I have a pair of velour wide leg elastic waist pants. Yay, something other than athletic pants!

When can I wear my jeans???

I wore jeans yesterday. I am a size 14 and had some jeans that are kind of like a stretchy type....they fit fine and I felt human!

When can I wear my jeans???

I'm ready to feel human again too, as teacherangle put it. The velour sweats are okay for home, the grocery store etc, but what about for Christmas Day? I can't stand the thought of sweats in all the pictures. I think when my recovery is over, I will be ready to burn the comfy clothes.
