Feeling better than ever 5 weeks post hysterectomy

I had an abdominal hysterectomy on November 14..They removed everything. I was in the hospital until 11/21 because of a slight infection. When I saw my doctor at my post op appointment she stated that the problems I was having were caused by a fast growing fibroid tumor. What I didn't know was that it was putting pressure on my back and causing severe pain that I thought was caused by a degenerative problem...I could not believe the feeling I had when they made me get up and walk after my surgery. It felt better than it did before my surgery. I also have experienced a 24lb weight loss which I love.I am a size smaller than I was. I am no longer constantly hungry like I was before due to the medications I was on. They also caused weight gain problems.....So I just wanted everyone to know that I am doing fine and I am so glad that I had this done. I hope you all have a Very Merry Healthy and Happy Holiday Season.

I know the feeling. I thought I would need a hip replacement in 5-10 years, due to severe pain, getting progressively worse. Since my hyster just over 2 months ago, I have had NO pain in my hip.
