Still tender after 8 weeks?

My hysterectomy was 10/29 and I came home 10/31. Recovery was okay, bladder was stuck to uterus and I had spasms for just over a month in bladder. Not having too much trouble now. Was released to return to normal activities on 12/14 and went back to work on 12/17. However, sex is still a struggle for me. I still have my ovaries but I'm not getting that "tingling" feeling that I used to have. Was nervous to start having sex, but now that we can, I don't even feel like it. My husband has been gentle, but it still doesn't feel right. When will it?

Still tender after 8 weeks?

I think being tender is normal. I didn't think I would feel like sex either, but it's been great. I don't have my ovaries. Do you have anything like KY jelly? that's what my doc suggested, but i haven't needed it.

We've been through alot and so much falls under normal. You might want to call your doc.

I've been really tired. I worked all day on Wed and just came home and fell out for a while. Luckily, I'm off now for the holidays.

Take time to rest and relax. I include relax because sometimes, I rest, but then think of all I need to do.

Still tender after 8 weeks?

I am still tender after/during... too. I was wondering the same thing. I guess we all just need more time to heal inside too.
