Shouldn't there be internal itching with healing?

I'm getting a few itchy twinges on the ends of my horizontal incision, but here's a question for you....
why do we not have any internal itching due to our vaginal cuffs, etc? I mean thank GOD we don't, but why not? I remember a few years ago when I had a cervical biopsy, about 3 days later I was itching like crazy in a place I couldn't scratch! I was curious why we don't have that with a hysterectomy?

I am not sure, maybe it has something to do with the air not getting to it and causing this. The inside takes a lot longer to heal so it is kind of different.

I think that is a good question for the doctor for sure.
