vaginal cuff feels lumpy

well, here i still am, wondering when all will be completely back to normal. i'm still having strange spasms in the bladder, especially the day after having sex? and the spams/contractions in my abdominal muscles as well? and, when i did a self-exam in the shower, i noticed that my vaginal cuff is lumpy. not hard lumps, just feels like soft tissue, same as the rest of the vaginal tissue??? anyone else have these, and did it cause any problems? hmm...... but, always hoping.....gee.

vaginal cuff feels lumpy

Well, I never did venture to do a a self exam, and not sure what it is supposed to feel like. I went for my exam and the doctor said is was fine. I remember it did take many months to heal, as I had granulation problems for a bit.

I would ask my doctor if you are still having problems in that area.

vaginal cuff feels lumpy

thanks for your reply suzy...........haven't had any granulation type probs = well, no bleeding or anything? have had another "feel", and the cuff, feels smooth and finished off nicely on the right hand side, but, from the middle to the left, it is lumpy, and there feels like there are "bulbous" tags of flesh, feels rather like the fibroid that was pushed out of my cervix one time when i'd had constipation, and it bled, which was how i first knew that there were serious problems taking place in=utero. hmmm...........and, the cuff on the left hand side feels very sore on pressure. after sex, it feels tender, and i get the spasms in my abdominal muscles the next day or two after. i know that i'll have to go back to the drs, and get it checked out, but, i keep hoping that it is just slow to heal, and that it'll just "go away" denial. but, then again, maybe it will???? here's hoping.........gee.
