Hang in there Chocolate Queen

I know how discourgaed you must be. I know you were excited to get those staples out. Try not to let it get you down. My prayers will definitely be with you. By the way your DH must be a pretty tough guy because my DH would have probably being laying in the floor.

Try to hang in there and take care. Each day will be a little better and brighter.

Blessings to you.

I think I over did it!

12 days post op, LAVH on 12/27. I went for a one mile walk today and I am paying the price now. Shooting pains from my vajayjay and tummy is swollen again. I have been going out on little shopping trips here and there but apparently I over did it today. I leave for Ohio on Sunday for business for a week, so I need to be a-okay! The swelly belly is just about all gone and I am my old, "regular" self in the morning.

Good luck ladies!

I had that happen with my appendix incision and it was just at one end of it. I can't imagine an incision as big as we have having to be opened up like that. Best wishes on a quick heal.

Just checking in!

Had LSH on 12/28/07. Feeling lots better today. Still have a huge hematoma and I think that is what is making me feel so bad. Still lack energy but I contribute that to having my 2 and 6 year old daughters. I have been driving and taking her to school since Monday. It feels weird driving.
I still have a terrible swelly belly. My mom is going shopping with me tomorrow to invest in some more comfy clothes. I still can't wear any of my clothes

Chocolate Queen, I hope you had a wonderful night. I will still be faithfully praying for you. Hang in there.
Lots of hugs to you.

Wishing all you sisters a speedy recovery and a blessed day.

Got a call from my surgeon - all my pathology reports came back clean. I am really thankful for that. Now my oncologist can't call me a ticking timebomb any longer.

Tissymoe - I know how you feel. I'm wearing my DH's sweats. I can't handle anything even a little tight around the tummy.

Chocolate Queen - I wish you a speedy recovery.

Take care

Hey Tissymoe,

Yes, I felt so huge the first week after the procedure (LSH on 12/28)), but now am feeling much better. I can wear my old jeans, but it's just a little too much pressure around the middle yet (went to the thrift store and bought a $5 pair of elastic-waist khakis instead). I haven't weighed myself, and won't for another week. If I feel up to it, I'll start a very gentle workout routine next week. Can't wait to get back to totally normal! Good luck!

Chocqueen are you hanging in there?

Speaking of clothes....I went to a showing today in my Victoria's Secret jammie pants, cami, and jacket. Hmmmmmmmmm...... I'm sure everyone thought I was a skank.
