I hurt...

Snowflake, thanks so much for your well wishes. I don't know what my sneezing was all about, but I think it was a cold that was trying to attack me. Poor DH was struck down with a bad cold on Christmas Day, and DD has been fighting one off. I'm doing better and am hoping that the sneezing was the extent of my cold. I don't know if it's God smiling on me, or these super-doses of ibuprofen that are keeping this cold at bay! Perhaps both.

Take good care of yourself and give us an update!

I hurt...

Hi Jewelleeannea,
I tried to contact myDr.'s office today...no answer. Apparently, his office will not be open until the 2nd of January. If things keep going the way they are, I might go to the ER (A&E), because I really don't think I should wait another 3 weeks to be seen. Some of the pain has gone from being occasional, to continual. Most of it is managable, but the fact it isn't going away, but getting more frequent, is really starting to bother me.
I will definitely let you lovely ladies know how I get on, when I finally get myself seen to.
Take care.

Hi Guinee,
Whatever the reason, I am pleased you sneezing has not progressed further. Please give you DH and DD my deepest sympathy; I know it is no fun; and I pray they are both well soon.
I find curries always help alleviate the symptoms of a cold; so if it is possible, I would have the whole family consume some.
I pray you stay cold free, and are healing well.
Take care.

Please dont delay, go to the ER and be seen! You can soo easily jump back to step 1 all over again or even worse... manageable pain is unexceptable with major surgery, especially after tripping or falling... Please please please don't delay!

I hurt...

Hi Jewelleeannea,
I have a sneaking suspicion I will end up at the hospital sooner rather than later. I have now noticed my temperature is beginning to rise. It has risen 1/2 a degree in the past few hours, and my face is starting to burn.
Will keep you posted.

Glad you made it through Christmas -- and hope that you now have an appointment with the DR to make sure that you did not tear anything up.

Best wishes --

Hi Jewelleeannea,
No, I haven't been to the ER yet. I am notoriously bad at going to Dr's. My temperature did not get any higher, and my symptoms remained consistent until around 1:30am, when I had an excruciating pain which was in my right side hip and straight down through the pelvic region and vagina...oooooooowwwwww it was bad, but not as bad as the one I wrote about last week. I keep getting much milder forms of these pains, so put off going to the hospital, because I don't want to seem like a post-op worry wart.

Hi thediamondlady,
I did make an appointment for my GP, if I can't get into my GYN. I really want him to deal with this, if possible. If he can't though, I have the utmost confidence in my GP.
LOL...I need wrapping up in cotton wool though; I have hurt my left knee, after kicking my toe, stumbling forward and twisting my knee...so let me see...My right hand, right foot and left knee are injured; along with heavens only knows what sort of internal injuries I may have sustained...lol, I am a happy camper!!!

Thanks ladies for your support and concern, I appreciate all the wonderful posts I have received so far.
