Hi Sister,
Hope you don't mind me praying for you too?
As to the tripping...I seem to have stopped for the minute.

I wish I was feeling better! I had two hours sleep, then spent the rest of the night awake, due to pain. I got up at 5:15am, and went for a drive. I then went for a walk, and then went to the beach, and watched the waves roll in, and watched a couple of speedboats out on he water.
I drove back to my town; went to the bakery, then the supermarket, and put the makings of dinner in the slow cooker. After a while, I took myself back to bed and worked on my sudoku puzzle, before settling down and sleeping for three hours. I got up, made lunch for my family and plonked myself down, and this is where I have stayed...I feel so blah, today. The pain is niggling away...ah well; I am grateful I am not as bad as some.
Take care.

Hugs,
LOL...Yes Ma'am; I promise to slow down. Actually, not sure I can get any slower...my walk today was really a very slow hobble. I know, I know, you didn't mean that kind of slow down; I just couldn't help a little humour.
The appointment with my GP is for Wednesday (Tuesday, where you are...not sure of the time difference.) It can't get here fast enough. I almost relented and went to the ER, this morning, but I really don't want to go there.
Sorry to hear you are not sleeping well either. Is it due to pain, or some other reason? I pray this will soon be a thing of the past for you.

Things must be different in Australia , We go to the dr when we are in pain here ...

Just kidding, do what you want. Hang on, your apt will be soon enough... besides if you are scared...

As far as me not sleeping I don't know what is wrong...no real pain just cant sleep I am thinking it's because i was abducted by aliens

You have a great day .... or a night

LOL!!! Yep, that's it, we Australian's don't realize we should venture to the Dr when our health is less than stirling...will have to keep it in mind.
Not scared to go to the ER; rather, more apprehensive. I was 3 and a half weeks post-op last year when I had a severe PID attack. I went to the ER; the nursing staff were great, but the DR....well...unfortunately the lights were on, but nobody was home, obviously, as I told them what was wrong, but they didn't listen. They were thorough, and gave me every test known to man kind; but if they had listened, they could have saved themselves, and others, a lot of extra work. Oh, and being made to feel like a science experiment is always enjoyable...I don't think!
Those blessed Alien's do it all the time! The little beggars just can't leave anything alone!!!
Did you keep your ovaries? If so, they may have gone AWOL, like mine. Gotta love those menopausal symptoms.
Whatever the reason, I hope you start getting some sleep soon. I actually got some sleep last night, which is great, but still feel tired.
Little tip...if you can't sleep, remain in bed, close your eyes and keep still. Our bodies need the rest more than our brains, so if you at least rest your body, you should'nt feel as tired the next day. (Easier said than done, when in pain) It may take a little practice, but as pain isn't really an issue for you, it is worth a try.

I know how you feel. I was just about cleared by my surgeon when I fell off a chair while trying to get the smoke detector battery out (no stomach muscles to pull myself up -- not the time to find that out) and banged my head on the floor. A concussion, and just last week I didn't realize where the air cleaner was and tripped over it, banging my cheek on the bedroom door. I had another jarring of my head and a sore face. The MRI says I have 2 herniated discs now when before I only had one. I can't tell you the number of times I've almost tripped on other occasions since the surgery. I'll admit that I've never been graceful but honestly, I think this surgery can make us so spaced out we have trouble concentrating on anything that isn't immediately at hand. When someone asks me to put my race on a form next I think I'll put "bruised". So hang in there, and be careful! I'm trying to be.
