Swollen Pubic/Groin Area

I'm finally in my 4th week. I'm still tender, especially in my belly area. The middle of my incision is still very red. I also have a swelly belly. But why is my groin so swollen? I know this was major surgery, with a lot of cutting, and pulling. But my pubic area is almost twice the size. When I touch it it wobbles like jello. Is this fluid, & or anything to be concerned about. I do tend to over to it, shame on me! But, I get so bored.
Thank you, for your replys.

Good Morning... I had my surgery the day after you... I am not having any symptoms like you are describing... I would call the dr and ask if this is normal... I am definitly finding myself over doing it right now... but my sons(21 and 25 yrs old) just flew in and getting ready for Christmas is soooooo busy and I made gingerbread houses with my 9 year old yesterday....it's tradition:-) I found myself quite sore afterward... then like a Yahoo I stayed up till 2 am talking with my boys... Oh well I can sleep next week.... Sure hope you are feeling better soon and have a great holiday!!! Suzanne

Swollen Pubic/Groin Area

Hi there,
I am still sore down there but have been getting steadily better. I would probably call the DR--. I still use my donut pillow when I have to sit for longer than a few minutes on a hard surface. I put a pillow case over it. Taking the pressure off really helps. I am probably going to bring it with me when I have to go back to work.
Good Luck, and Happy Holidays
