Injections for Keloids

Hi Sisters
Do any of my sisters have keloids? what type of injection was given, i have to get some injections early in the new year, is it painfull? please reply.

I have keloids. However, have never had injections. What is the physician planning on accomplishing? Less scar tissue?

I hope somebody who has had this done will come along soon, and share. Otherwise, looks like a call to your doc's nurse is in order, for additional info.

I had a keloid that was about 6 inches long by 2 inches wide when I had my TAH that they cut out --

It was creatted by pregnancy 3 months after surgery when I was 19 -- so that did not help --

so far what I have is just a small pencil like line with a bump under it -- so maybe by taking longer to get back to normal -- I can minimize how big it will get.
