It is gas from the surgery. I think almost everyone on here has had their share of it.
I drank warm tea and peppermint tea and that helped tons. Hope you are feeling better soon. It takes a few days to get out of your system.
Take care.

Yes I hate to say it but I had to sneak and take some Gax X strips in the castle, they took far to long to contact the dr about what I could and couldnt have I was in PAIN!!!! It really should have been in the standard instructions for me but as usual then nurses were not up to par, I found out on my last day they were suppose to give me stool softeners 4 times a day for the 4 days but didnt, so ditto on my Milk of Mag I brought, I finally took some the day I was being checked out I was so blocked up.. I was so happy to leave that place UGH!

I agree re: the Gas X thin strips. They work great and you don't have to have any liquid to take them. They just melt on your tongue. Thanks to the heads up from my fellow hyster sisters, I asked my doc ahead of time if I could bring them to the hospital & he said it was fine. Although it's uncomfortable, the gas means your insides are getting moving again.

How many of you got so use to having the no smell gas, that when regular gas came back you didn't think you needed to leave the room? I had the no smell kind for more than two weeks. TAH/BSO
