sore pelvic bones/hips

My hips just started hurting today, at 3 weeks. It is so strange. It is almost as if the sore feeling I had in my abdomen has moved out to my hips and back.

I know. Just when you think everything is ok, this happens. But, what I hear is that it will pass. I am glad I saved some of my pain killers. I am only going to take one tonight. I have not been sleeping well either...I hope you are pain free soon.

Thank You, So much. I was starting to wonder if it was me sleeping wrong or something else. I had a TAH( I am not sure of the correct terminology).

((((sam40)))))) I can relate. I was going along fine and then ten days post-op. . .well, I feel like crap, sore hips being part of it. I am feeling frustrated too, but my MIL, who is a nurse, is staying a couple of days with us(yes, I am blessed, we can be in the same house for an extended time period) and she told me it is normal to feel worse 2-3 weeks post-op than when we first get home. Bloating's going down, anethesia is getting out of your system so your nerves are really waking up and we are feeling all the bumps and bruises of surgery, including the surgery itself.

I posted how good I was feeling, now I have to take it all back-for now. We will feel better!

I had that as well. I thought it was because I was either sitting too much or laying down. Im usually very active and this surgery stopped me cold for a while. Once I was up moving around more I felt fine.

Hi Girls,

I am so thankful for this site. It has kept me from freaking out. I have learned so much. This morning my pelvic/hip area does not hurt like yesterday and I finally got a good nights sleep. I am going to keep activity to a minimum this weekend so I can celebrate the New Year with friends.Hopefully we all can start the new year feeling better. Happy New Year to all!!!
