Pain Near Belly Button...Any Ideas?

Hi Snowflake ~

Thanks for asking about my NYE. I actually did fine!! The weepies were gone by then, replaced by a ZIT!!! I haven't had one of those in a loooong time. Stinking hormones!

I'm so sorry the ultrasound found something!! I hope it isn't too serious and you start feeling better again really soon!! If the Dr has time to wait to call you - hopefully that means it isn't anything too awful. When I had my cuff cellulits CT they said the Dr would let me know by Friday (it was a Wed) and instead he called me less than an hour later. Then you know it wasn't a call to say Hi!! hahahaha

I will keep you in my prayers.

My kids come back today - yippee!! I miss them so!

Hi Starbgirl,
So pleased to hear you have your children back; and that your weepies seem to be a thing of the past. Hormones...aaaagh..zits...yeesh! Sorry about that.
I rang the office today to ask if I could get my results or if I had to make an appointment; and the receptionist said that one of the ladies from the A&E rang her this morning to make an appointment for me tomorrow morning. The interesting thing is, A&E did not ring me! If I had not rang my Dr's office to find out; I would have missed my own appointment!
I am quietly confident it isn't anything major. I think my hubby is quietly hoping I have to have another surgery, so he can get more time off!!! lol...I may be wrong...I know he wants me to get better very soon.
Whatever it is though, is making my life miserable! I was in absolute agony last night. I have been awake since 2:15 am and it is now 9:30pm. Pain is NOT my friend!!! am so tired lately.
Sorry, I shouldn't grumble. I am so grateful for you and all the ladies here at Hystersister; you keep me sane...
Hope all is going well for you.

Pain Near Belly Button...Any Ideas?

Hi Guinee, I presume you meant me.
I had my appointment a few hours ago. Apparently I have a bit of scar tissue, but I am healing quite well. Dr. told me to take it easy for a few weeks...not to overdo it.
My tubes were horrible, apparently. Adhered to everything and scarred very badly. My ovaries were good, but because I am having hot flushes and night sweats, he sent me for a blood test to see if I am menopausal, or if the are just being sluggish since the operation. I have to call him next Friday to find out the results.
The surprise was finding out that on top of my Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, I had developed Endometriosis! It has developed since my operation on the 21st of March, 2006. Apparently my uterus was riddled with it.
I now have to call my GP and make an appointment, because the pain mentioned in the subject title, is possibly unrelated to my operation, and my Dr. recommends I get my GP to check it out.
Hope you are recovering well. Take care.

Snowflake - yes, I did mean you, LOL!!! My brain is so fried these days!

I hope that your test results are favorable, and that your GP can get to the bottom of the pain.
