Donna, I hope everything goes well at the dr.'s today. Maybe it will be something they can fix easily without surgery etc. Let us know.

Candance, You have sure been through a lot lately. I hope they figure it all out soon. Waiting is the worst!!! It must be hard with a little one...

I don't have any aches or pains this morning but I probably will have a backache later. That and a sore tummy, but everyday I get better. Woke up and was a little dizzy this a.m. now my nose is stuffy and I have a headache. I think my kids have finally given me their colds. I hope my ears don't plug up. That happenef a few months ago and the room was spinning - doc said inner ear does that to a person. Anybody taken cough syrup or antihistemines (I spelt that wrong). Hope I don't start coughing that would hurt. I too have been napping during the day and usually fall asleep on the couch around 8 go to bed about 10:30 and then I wake up about 4:30 and can't get back to sleep because I slept too much during the day. I wake up several time during the night sweating No HRT because of endo and family history. Doc said if I start to feel really bad they would give me low dose estrogen for awhile and then wean me off. My problems seem pretty minor and I don't mean to whine!

I hope everyone feels good today and everyone gets answers from their doctors.

OMG, you guys 3 & 7 surgeries in less than a year! I'm impressed you are both so upbeat and forging ahead with your recoveries and finding answers. I truly hope everything works out quickly for both of you.

I took an antihistamine and several cups of coffee so I wouldn't fall asleep LOL. I'm going to try and stay awake all day and see if I sleep better tonight. I could just take the Benadryl before bed, maybe that would work with my luck it will make me jittery...

It's beautiful outside today, the sky is so blue but it's so darn cold here (MN). We had blizzard warning south of here yesterday and they actually closed a few highways. It would be so nice to get outside for a walk. I walked around my house for 15 min. this morning just for the exercise.

I hope every one has a great day! (Fog free too!!)

Hi everybody!
I hope everyone is feeling better today.
Candace & Donna, you guys are so tough! I thought I would be, but find I'm not. I tried to express my fears about going back to work in a couple of weeks, and DH just said maybe you need to start walking more to build up your strength. I wish it were that easy, I just don't want to do anything! I know it's depression, but I don't know what I can do more than I am about it. I'm already taking 2 anti depressants and HRT. I guess I'm just gonna have to suck it up and force my self to be cheerful. I should be good at it, I've done it before. But somehow I'm finding it hard to step up to it this time.
It would help if it wasn't so darn cold, then I could at least go outside to play! LOL
Well enough of my whining! I hope every one has a Blessed Day!

glenda, maybe get out. go walk slow at the mall stopping to sit at the food court. there are good movies out....maybe that. I am currently resting....did something stupid and used the steam cleaner.....and I had to drage it upstairs. i cleaned it all out and now will wait for dh to get home to take it back to the garage and yell at me for doing it. But I could see the dogs had a few accidents while it was cold and raining and we were out of town. So I hope I do not pay for it.

I have similar anxieties as you do and the closer I get to work time......the owrse I will get. I am going to talk to my dr about my concerns tomorrow. I am so scared to go back and I have no energy. Maybe if I have dh help me set up my scrapbook table and I start working on that like I wanted to I will feel some accomplishment and give my mind something to do.

I will let you know what happens after I talk to the dr.

Donna:The Steam cleaner? Ouch, DD did my steam cleaning a couple of weeks ago. My dogs had accidents while I was in hosp. Be careful how you pull things. My Grandma used to tell me, do it now pay for it later. Now I know what she meant!
I am trying to get around more in the house, we live in the "boonies" the nearest mall is over 50 miles away, and the only movie theater in town is where I work. Oh I haven't mentioned my second job have I? I work 3-5 nights a week, mostly on weekends, at our local theater. That makes me working 7 days a week, thats one reason why I'm terrified I won't be able to handle it. I will be standing for 2-3 hours straight and then cleaning up. The mops weigh a ton! But maybe it won't be as hard as I'm afraid it will be.
But seriously you need to be more careful. I know I'm probably being over cautious myself, but it sounds like your seriously overdoing.

My doctor advised me to use Mederma on my incision. I have keloid prone skin and am very concern about the overgrowth of scar tissue along the incision. I just started using it yesterday. It is too soon for any results but it does keep the incision soft, pliable and comfortable.
