Kelly
If I were you I would wear a nice warm dressing gown and nothing else when at home! Lets hope you get your problem sorted out properly this time and you can start to mend.
Take care

Hi Ladies,

I hope everyone is doing well. I finished my first full week of work and man am I tired. Last week was nice working half days. Does anybody still have a sore tummy? Mine has a tender spot or two. Any great tips for getting a good nights sleep?

Kelly, Chris is right go get a few dressing gowns or house coats. My mom bought me two and I wore them a lot, very comfy. I sure hope you feel better soon, you have been through the wringer.

Chris, thank you for the info on the HRT. I goggled it and am not sure I can take it but will discuss my options when I see my Dr. on Tues.

Dallas, bladder infections are icky. I thought yesterday a.m. I was getting one but drank a ton of water at work and a big old glass of cranberry juice before bed and felt better today. I hope we don't start getting these! My SIL has and they have given her estrogen cream to use vaginally and that has helped. Remember to drink that cranberry juice though! I also found Alka Seltzer has made me feel better when I've had a UTI. Strange I know but it helped until you can get the antibiotics.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Overdid things yesterday (think I got overheated) while we cleaned out hte garage before it gets too hot. (Sorry for thoses of you dealing with winter it is up in the 80's here already) I was so dizzy and had a headache. At least I still have two days off!!!!

Treebee,

So glad to hear that someone else still has a sore tummy. My DH and I painted our bedroom this weekend and now the little twinges I was feeling are bigger.

I went back to work after 4 weeks. Since I am in management, my heaviest lifting is mental. Luckily I was able to work half days--well at least I left at 2 instead of 5 But I was still very tired and find myself still find I wear out easily. Sounds like I'm pretty typical for this stage of recovery.

Best wishes to all my sisters.

Hi all!
Today was my first day back with my babies, I only had two of them today, Thank God! I am soooo tired, I started my other job at the local cinema Friday night and worked Sat. and last afternoon. I'm ready for another break LOL! I am not scheduled for any though for a while so I just need to suck it up!
Wish me luck tomorrow, I'm having the full load plus my two grandkids part of the time. I'll really be tired this time tomorrow night! But it's really not too bad at least I don't have to leave the house until my grandson gets out of school at 2:45.
I hope you all have a Blessed Day!

Hi Ladies,

I hope everyone is doing well! Sounds like most of us are back to work. I'm pretty stiff and sore, work has been kind of physical this week. Yuck!

I had my Dr. appt. yesterday and everything is healed well and have been given the green light for sex. How's that going for everyone if you don't mind me asking

Talked with my Dr. about not sleeping and she thinks it's the night sweats which do wake me and suggested Effexor XR has anybody tried that? I'm very hesitant to take it. She said if I don't like it then she will prescribe the Viville dot. I have the prescription but haven't filled it.

Well, I hope everyone is doing great!

Hi everybody!
I made it through another day, it wasn't bad though, two of my kids stayed home because it was their moms day off. I had one who didnt go to school, and my smallest Miss Tater Tot, thats what i call her her name is kaidence. DH was home today and began to build a half wall between our living room and kitchen, right now it has a large archway. He's going to put in a half door so I can keep the children out of the kitchen, I'm afraid they might get hurt. It will also serve as a gate so we can leave our two jack russells in the kitchen when we're out so if there are accidents it will be easy to clean up. We've had a busy day and my body is telling me so, I'm drained. Maybe if I get a good night sleep I can jump back in in the morning.
Good Night Everybody & God Bless

Good to see most everyone is feeling better. I'll be 8 weeks post op on Friday.
Back at work for a few hours each day. Great to be driving and shopping again. Still taking it easy with the housework.

Now that UTI is gone and sinus infection is clearing up, I'm hoping to feel normal soon. Still not released for bath, sex or exercise until my 3 months post op.

Once in a while I feel a little sore when I urinate and wipe. I think that may be due to vaginal dryness. Still have hot flashes and night sweats and insomnia is a little better.

Doc said I may notice stitches dissolving. I haven't seen any evidence yet.
Anyone notice when theirs dissolved?
