Hi Ladies,

I hope everyone is feeling well today!

Kelly, it's good to hear from you! I'm glad you are feeling better and hope it continues for you. I'm sorry that the road to recovery has been so long and hard for you.

Donna, I hope things calm down with your mom. It must be difficult especially now. You are still in recovery and need to be pampered as much as possible. It sure sounds like you kids are lucky to have such a warm and caring mom!

Well, I'm still not sleeping. I tried Valarian with black cohosh, melatonin and last night I tried a 5 mg Ambien which didn't put me right to sleep but I did finally sleep. I was also put on the Viville dot yesterday so perhaps with time that will help. I can't take the not sleeping and have never had a problem with that before. I finally decided I need the hormones. Anybody out there on the Viville dot?

I hope everyone has a great day!

Teresa

9 weeks post op and it seems like something new every couple of weeks.
First the surgery, UTI and sinus infection, now a yeast infection. I feel very sore like when I was a little girl and sat in bubble bath too long. Was given topical ointment first which cause me to burn like crazy, than prescribed 3 doses of Diflucan. 5 days later burning is gone, but still sore.
Also, raked some in the yard today and felt lots of pulling on the side which still has ovary.
I'm ready to feel better for good! Anyone else experiencing the soreness?
(can't be from sex, haven't been released to try that yet..if I'm sore now can't imagine what that will be like)
Thanks.

jct79, the yeast infection sounds horrible. I hope you feel better soon! I was on Augmentin for a sinus infection and was terrified I would get a yeast infection. I drank Danactive Immunity yogurt and so far so good. We haven't done the deed yet either although I have been released. I just have felt so icky lately. I finally went on HRT (Vivelle Dot) I hope that starts to work soon. I think it is as I feel better but now find myself with achey muscles. I had that earlier but it was getting better. I not sure if it's from the Vivelle or the Protonix I am taking for GERD. It's been a fun ride I slept from 10:30 - 3:30 last night and that pretty good for me! I did take an Ambien (5 mg) I so don't want to take those........ I sure didn't think this was going to be so hard! I have never in my life had sleep issues. I guess we need to stay positive! It's going to get better!

Hi jct79

I am still getting pain on left side - kept both ovaries but only left side giving me bother - I just take parecetamol for the pain as I was taking ibuprofen but nowI discover that this can cause bleeding if you are taking an ad which I have been - hence the change - dont want any more bleeding!

If the pain keeps up I am going back to the doc but I hope it will subside - it could be that we are doing to much and our bodies are saying slow down so I think I will take it easy today

B xx

Good morning all!
I really don't have anything unusual going on here except DH has flipped his lid! LOL
He actually helped me paint the playroom yesterday, it had been driving me nuts, because it used to be DD's room and she painted it purple (a dark lilac), the room has only one fair size window, which we tinted for energy saving purposes. The purple made the room so dark and small, so I painted it a sunny yellow. When she came to visit she said I was insane to paint it sooooo bright. Her favorite color is BLACK, thankfully not goth though, she does at least put some color with it, even if it's just white.
What DH doesn't realize, that room is just the first in 7 rooms in our hause that need painting, and we're on a roll!
Our house is 10 years old and this is the first time we have had to paint, so he's lucky!!! Neither of us like to paint, so we're in for a long ordeal. LOL

Kelly, I'm glad to hear you are healing, and am sorry you still have another surgery ahead of you, but my prayers will be with you.

It seems everybody else is doing well, I'm glad.
I'm doing a lot better, I think my iron is finally building. I still get more tired than I think I should but that too is at least getting better.
Last week I babysat 5 children from the age of 4 to 6 weeks, so I must be doing at least as well as can be expected. LOLThe worst being my grand daughter, she knows she has me wrapped, and tightly too!
My 3 year old great nephew told me last week his Mom bit him, when I asked why, he said "I told her to, boy you just can't trust your MOM". He's hilarious.
Well as you can see insomnia has reared it's nasty little horned head, but I'm actuall getting a little sleepy, I hope, (thus the rambling )so I'm up at 6 this morning, the work never ends!

Hi Ladies,

Well, they moved us....... I hope everyone follows the move

Went to the Dr. today (again) and am going to try a different sleep aid and she told me to go ahead and try the OTC progestrone cream if I wanted. When do these sleep issues end? I'm hoping the estrogen kicks in and I start feeling great!!!

Hope everyone is doing great!

Hi!
I hope everyone is doing well.
I still have sleep issues, unless I take ambien. If I don't, I sleep but, I have some wierd dreams and I wake up a lot. The dreams are just ordinary everyday events, making me wonder the next day if it really happened or if it was one of my dreams. I didn't have the problem with dreams post-op it's kind of wierd. I did have sleep problems though, in some ways they were worse, I would go for days without sleep, at least now I get SOME sleep.
I too hope everyone follows our move, I have come to look forward to hearing from everybody. I guess our shared health issues has helped, but sometimes it just helps to know you have someone to share life's everyday bumps with.
I hope every one has a Blessed Day!
