jct79, I'm glad your stitches have dissolved reason to celebrate! I too had a dr. appt. today was hoping for an increase in my estrogen dose but didn't get it said to wait a little longer and see if things get better (that means sleep). I have struggled with my blood pressure since my early twenties and today it was 124/67! I also have high cholesterol but my triglycides are okay and that's what HRT can raise. I have heard it lowers cholesterol though. Check it out on line and if you really feel bad maybe your Dr. will give you HRT. If you want it that is. I just felt so terrible I had too.

Kelly, I'm glad you are feeling better. I have heard some ladies use a derma something or other band aid to put over the patches that fall off and then they stick better. You might want to put that patch back on!

Take care everyone!
Teresa

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one not back to 100 percent. I started off feeling great, but I think I need to have a HRT tweak. Now I'm having annoying headaches every day, I'm constantly grouchy, and have absolutely no energy. Except for the continuous bleeding being gone in some ways I feel worse. By now I was expecting to feel like the "new woman" I was told I'd be. I'm afraid I'm even still anemic. or at least I feel like I did with the anemia. I am going to see my nurse prac. as soon as I can get a day off. Maybe she will have some answers since she specializes in womens health.
Kelly, good luck on your last surgery, I hope it's the last one you need for a long time. I have been looking over that healty recipes book a little, but havent had much time to try out any, as soon as I try some of them I'll send the recipes, in case your Mom might like them.

Kelly, glad things are better for you. but I am curios. What is wrong with your bypass?

jct79, congrats on the stiches finally being gone and released to all activities. LOL! Bet you are very glad for that. As for hte HRT I have been on one that was doing well in fact my insurance requires I get a 90 day supply at one time so I did. But now the hot flashes have returned and I am not sure that it is working as well anymore ERRRRR. I will give it a few more days and call my dr.

As for me I am doing well. Just busy as usual.

I'm taking premarin 0.625 mg daily. I'm told it's a low dose and most times needs increasing. I just don't know how reliable my info is.
I hope everyone is doing well.

God Bless!

hello ladies , ladybug i had gastric bypass almost 7 years ago now and it has now twice caused life threating interal hyerinas in my bowal and this last time which was right after my hyserectomy my small bowel was actually wrapped up coutner clockwide and in a vouvoulous sorry spelling. they had to remove some of my bowel this time. i have almost died 2times in the last three years from these comlications. my next surgery is to fix a defect in the connection of the bowel to the pouch and to reduce the size of the pouch agin because it has streched out either because of my eating toomuch for it or becuse of the bowel obsurtuctions the hyeras cause soo i need to go under the knife one more time this summer. this will be my 7 abdominal surgery and i am getting kinda discouraged and tired of them if i knew that iwas going to be fat agian and have all these compliations 3 and 6 years out i would have never had the gastrc bypass i would ahve waited until something better came along like the gastric banding whicd is the wayto go now days when i had mine done they were just starting to do that and i was afraid of a new proceedure and wanted the one they knew most about and woud give me the most weight loss what in the world was i thinking lOL> well thats the story sorry to ramble on, but these brushes with death have drove me over the edege and i then had to be hospitalized for my anxiety go figure i wasnt under any stress at all. there is a long complicltcated story about doctors in my area not treating me too so i had to drive five hours away to get the life saving surgery done so in a nut shell that is what happenned.. thanks for listening it sometimes feels good to vent, on the oter topic i too am tired all the time and dont feel like i am up to speed yet but i dont knowif that is from bowel surgery or hyserectomy i shope every one feel on ther feet soon take care kelly.

Hi Glenda, I think that is a low dose. I'm on a low dose too and my dr. didn't want to raise it for at least another two weeks I feel so much better but still have the night sweats, those were my first symptom so I suppose they will be the last to go....I know patience is important but man it's hard. I want to feel better now LOL.

Kelly, I too am tired a lot so I'm sure some of it is the hysterectomy but you have had two major surgeries in such a short time I think you need to give your self extra time to feel better. My PCP gave me a sleeping pill that is valium based because it also helps with anxiety! I think that just having surgery and no estrogen can cause the anxiety and you had the added serious complications so I don't blame you a bit for being anxious. I am glad you are getting better!

Did anyone feel anxious when they started their HRT? I went so long without that when I finally did start I think it may have increased my anxiety a little. I wonder if that has happened to anyone else. Makes me a little nervous to up the dose but I don't like the night sweats!

It's going to be another beautiful day here today! I've been walking on my lunch break and love it!

Have a great day everyone,

Teresa

Hi Everyone,

Most times my belly is numb, i'll touch and could barely feel my fingers on my skin. What up with this? It is such an odd feeling. Also my belly is still swollen I hate it. I could wear jeans but by the end of day I want to rip them off. Help
