pain management

I'm off to the castle July 19th, for TAH BSO. One last question comes to my mind. I will be put under for the surgery, but would prefer to use an epidural as well for pain management. The anesthesiologist says no problem. My GYN prefers morphine. I've had four c-sections with wonderful epidurals and the last one was used as well for pain management quite successfully. Morphine really scares me as I don't know how my body will react. Any experiences with epidurals as pain mangement after anesthesia? Thanks to all the princesses for the support on this site.

Sorry, I am not much help. I had the morphine pain button. which worked great for me.
I just noticed you had no replies and sliding down the list. This will bump you to the top again. Good luck. May you have a speedy, painless recovery.

lspip - While waiting for other replies - use search engine at the top...search by keyword "epidural"...that will give you some posts to read.
