Not sure what to expect

Elephantbites- I too am a side sleeper and let me tell you-sleeping on my back took some getting used to! I slept in my DH's recliner for a few days, then made a wedge of pillows in my bed so that I could at least be in the same room with him to sleep. Don't push it right now, eventually you will be able to turn over-just be very careful the first few times-with all the extra room inside, the other organs start moving around and can cause some fleeting painful feelings. I too am fluffy and when I was finally able to turn over (at week 6) it was wonderful! I'm now at 10 weeks out, and can sleep on both sides, though I also sleep on my back sometimes, just because it doesn't hurt anymore to do so.

As for the nausea, don't be afraid to ask for meds, they work, I still have some of the ones I was prescribed and will keep them for emergencies...nothing worse than vomiting with stitches!!!

All in all, it will get better, and the more pillows you have, the more comfortable you will be!

TAH 10/26/07-fibroids (3) and alien shaped organs!
