8 mths post op and NOW I bleed

I am 8 mths post op and started bleeding tonight. Not heavy, but this is the first time since I got over my "post op bleeding". I have hurt a LOT since my surgery and just chalked it up to healing, but could this be related? Do I have a reason to be worried???? I really am... so I do plan to call my GYN in the morning. Any advice to help my feelings?

You definately have to call your dr. to find out what is going on. What type of surgery did you have? I have heard that some sister have had problems with granulation tissue bleeding near their vaginal cuff site. If you kept your ovaries and cervix you could possibly be bleeding from your cervix. And if you had endometriosis, there have been women who have had this come back on their cervix or other places and cause problems. But there are many other reasons and it can only be truly evaluated by your physician. Please let us know how you make out with your dr. Try not to worry until you talk to your dr. Good luck and keep us posted.

I still haven't been to see the doctor. Couldnt get an appointment until this Thursday. The bleeding has stopped, but I am having bladder spasms. The bladder issues have been going on for a while. Wonder if this might be related to the bleeding? No bleeding since last week... so I am wondering if the doctor is going to think I am nuts???

Well, the verdict is in... I have to have surgery again. My Fallopian tube has prolapsed thru the vaginal cuff. He cauterized it today. I also have a severe UTI, which I have had for a month now.. been on 2 different antibiotics that obviously not worked... so he is sending me to the Urologist first to get that cleared up. I go back to the GYN next Friday for U/S and he wants to biopsy the fallopian tube. Then he wants to go in laprascopic and either remove that tube and ovary or just fix the tube. He would really rather take them both out but I cannot take HRT, so he just doesnt want to do that. I am in severe pain, more so since he checked me. I thought I was going to die it hurt so bad. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers and I will keep you all posted on what is going on. Thanks for being here for me guys!

Have you experienced tiredness due to this? I'm afraid I might be going through the same thing.

As I am reading your post I can not help but to cry. I am soooo sorry that you had to endure this. I am one day out from the same ordeal and it totally sent me in tears from all the pain. Some women say it does not hurt but it did for me. Again I am sorry. Can I ask why they will biopsy a fallopian tube? Can one have cancer in thier fallopian tube?
I hope your doing ok. I can only imagine what you must be going through hearing you need another surgery. I wish you all the luck in the world... I hope you feel better soon!
