dull pain in groin area

I had my TAH 19 months ago, in June 2006. I have still got a very sensitive scar site which I have learned to live with, but over the past 3 days or so I have been experiencing a dull pain, low down on the right side, in the groin area. I am confused as to what this could be...forgive my ignorance, but if the ovaries have been removed, what is it that could be aching? It is similar to the pain I had before the hysty, only not so severe...only last night it was strong enough to make me dream I had a pain only to wake up and find I really did! Any ideas? or advice much appreciated.

Hi Maryrosefiji!
I think I'd give your doctor a call and let them know about the pain. If I over did it with in the first 12 months, I would have some aching or pains that would ease if I rested for a day or two. But as far from your surgery as you are, this could be something not related to your hyst. Only your doctor would be able to tell this for sure.
Give them a call and let us know what you find out.
Take care!
