Cramps 4 months after surgery??

Hey ladies! Hope everyone is doing well and that everyone had a great holiday season.

Anyways, I was wondering about cramps, almost like menstural cramps after surgery? I've had them now for the past couple of days. I have been lucky in not having too many issues after surgery but these things are not feeling too good. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Cramps 4 months after surgery??

I get them too sometimes. It may be from our ovaries (if you have them), scar tissue (we're still healing for a year), or could be gastrointestinal/rectal. If they're really bothering you and you are having a lot of bad days, I would have a dr. check you out.
Otherwise I heard they are normal.

Cramps 4 months after surgery??

I am six months along today, YAY! And I do have very mild cramps a day or two a month- and from what I have been told that is normal since I still have my ovaries ... I do the same things when I was having periods and it works well.

I do think if it is severe, disturbing, or is long in duration it would not hurt to run it by your care provider.

Best of luck!

Cramps 4 months after surgery??

Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye on them and see what happens. I do not have my ovaries as they were crushed under the mass so that's what was really making me wonder. Of course this is all happening right before I'm suppose to fly to Florida next week for vacation. Isn't that how it always works? LOL

5 years out and every now and then, it feels like cramps. Maybe it's just in my head. It has diminished over time though.
