awww.. BIG HUGS.. yes, dear, that's normal... at least, it happened to me, of course, I AM about as far from normal as it gets

Anyways, yes, I cried in church last week, had to ask a friend that thankfully was sitting behind us for tissues...

LESSON: do not leave home without tissues.
I'll save on sanitary pads/tampons and need to switch to tissues! they are much less expensive, though

Take care

Hang in there ladies! Im sure your bodys adjusting to the changes that has happened and your hormones are going alittle crazy. I didnt have weepy events until much later. Recently actually. Thats what brought me to this site was searching for answers as to why I could cry one minute and yell the next. I finally went friday for some hormone blood work to see how my levels are. I hope it comes up with something, I feel like I have PMS every other week. Good luck to you both!

I am just frustrated with everything. Husband is not supportive today. I just want things back to normal. Sleeping overies could have alot to do with the mood swings. I did keep my overies and i heard they go into shock. I read it is called sleeping overies. Well if that's the case they better wake up soon cause I can't stand the hot and cold flashes and the crying. Things to get better I hear, I am counting on that. Take care.

I think you're very normal. I cried at the drop of a hat and had the blues until I hit the 2+ week post-op mark. Hang in there, it's gets better!

I was that way after my surgery and finally gave in to start taking the Premarin. I feel so much better now. I am laughing again and feeling more like myself everyday.

I wish I had the magic answer for you. I had my surgery on Halloween 2007. I am still so tired, having hot flashes that wake me up during the night and am a major grump! Not sure what doc to go back to. My surgeon has 'cleared me', not sure my internist would be the one....perhaps back to my gyn who is new to me. Had been seeing the same doc for over 20 years....gone this year.....so first year with new doc. My surgery was a major surprise.....I am not a happy person at the moment.

Weepy

I had my surgery on the 7th and remember crying my eyes out in the shower about a week after I was home from the hospital.

I had dropped something on the floor, couldn't reach it and then I knew I couldn't shave the bottom of my legs properly (abdominal incision).

My DH was downstairs so I got out of the shower and cawled for him and continued to bawl my eyes out while he shaved my legs in the shower. I continued to cry when I got out for about 15 minutes and I haven't cried since.

It feels good to cry. To me, it reminded me of my one day of postpartum after having my babies many years ago.
