Cujetskiin,
I'd have the doc do a culture, that's what mine did for me. Don't wait incase it's an infection! Good luck!!

I was told if I had discharge accompanied by an odor, I was to call. It could mean you have an infection brewing. It doesn't hurt to call. Good luck, Cujetskiin!

Mine smelled like rotten broccoli and I knew it was something. Call your doctor. Never hurts.

Ladies,

It is honking cold here near the 'burgh. 2 hour delay due to wind chill. I want to make a fire but don't want to bring wood in or deal with it, so I may just wait until DH comes home. I already teased him about not lighting one before he went to work.

Allie,
Freezing cold here too. We have no fireplace. I am going to go light some candles............it's the closest I will get to the illusion of a hearth! LOL

Freezing here as well. Going to light a fire in a couple of hours. I think I slept most of the night on my left side, because today my left hip is KILLING me. Gas pains today are hell as well. Hubby still thinks that pain pills at night is not a good thing. ANyone have thoughts on this? I think he thinks that I am going to get addicted or something like that.....????

i don't think you could get addicted that fast. your surgery was only the 28th. that's only 14 days right? maybe he should call the doc or nurse for reassurance, seems like he's looking out for your welfare, but just needs some better information. in these days when people are getting hooked on pain killers i could see it if you were 6 mos out but not 14 days.

Dodgegal
I'm still having crampy and some lower abdomen pain mostly at night too. I'm three weeks post op today. Maybe it's normal.

Cujetskiin, no odor here (or at least I thnk not - I've been thankfully stuffed up!), but I do have the belly tenderness that Dodgegal spoke of. My stomach feels WAY more tender now than it did after surgery.

Perhaps it's all the nerve endings meeting up and speaking to each other again, but it feels like I got rabbit punched in the gut. My stomach is very tender to the touch from my belly button down to my incision. It feels like I should look down and see a massive bruise, but there's nothing there. Very sore to the touch.

Is anyone else experiencing the sore belly? Thanks, princesses!

here we go again....

add another page to my saga. I found out today that I have a rectovaginal fistula now. I have to see a general surgeon on Wednesday. It's one thing after another with this, I can't catch a break. Dreading the thought of ANOTHER surgery after just having 2 in the month of January. I just pray when it's fixed, nothing else goes wrong and I can get back to my normal life. I'm so frusturated and a bundle of nerves at this point. Trying to keep a positive attitude but it's very hard right now. I just want to be healthy and alright, my little boys need me!!!!!
Thanks for letting me vent....lol. I'll keep you all updated my sisters.
