Good Morning! I think it is at this time that it is finally registering on all of us that we won't have to put up with our monthly periods anymore, and THAT makes me very happy! I sent my sister all my leftover tampons. That was fun! At least she didn't open it at the post office!

I had my 6 week dr. appt. on Thursday. He has cleared me for everything except sex. He says my stitches are still tender and not healed enough. My DH was understanding, but sad. I was sort of relieved because it sounds scary....we've been "pretending" (like teenagers) and that is fun though. I guess by the time I'm cleared, I will be looking forward to it. My hormones are still screwy and my DH got to experience one of my hot flashes (I was curled up with him). He was amazed. I'm on the patch, and it does help, but apparently not quite enough. I'll talk to my GP and see what she says. Also, I have RA and was hoping the estrogen would help with the aches and pains, but I was wrong. Got to go see my rheumatologist. I was putting this off to see if the hyst. and estrogen would help. Bummer. That would have been nice if it took care of everything!!

We are supposed to get rain in sunny southern CA today. We need it though. I was going to garden. My "garden" are has lots of weeds right now since I haven't been able to work on it for a while. Got to get some spring seeds planted! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'd better go get ready for the day. Blessings to all!

Hello Sisters!
Well so much for DH and I trying to have sex this weekend!!! He said no, he would rather wait until I am totally healed. He said he does not want it to be like before a terrible experience. Before the Hyster I would cry, I was in so much pain! Real turn off for DH. So I guess we will wait for the ALL CLEAR! She said we could try, but since I was not totally healed I would probably bleed, I guess this scared DH!... Oh well....

I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend. Ours was kinda screwy... Yesterday it was in the low 60's today the low 30's.. Go figure, and then we wonder why everyone is always sick...

I hope that everyone has a great week! It is week three for me back to work. I still get really tired. I worked the nursery in church today. UGHH!! I thought I would fall asleep driving home. I was really tired. Those kiddo's were exhausting....

Hello Everyone, Well This Is An Update For Me & My Dh. I Was Cleared To Start Having Sex Again Last Week. We Havent Been Able To Do Anything Due To Dh Had Nose Surgery & He Hasnt Felt Like It. I Have To Admit That Im Kinda Releived. I Have Been Very Nervous About Getting Back In The Saddle Sorta Speak. I Love My Dh & I Want To Try,but Im Just Scared Of The Not Knowing What It Will Be Like. I Have About Another Week To Wait Before He Will Feel Like Giving It A Go. Maybe By Then Ill Be Brave Enough To Try It. Sorry If This Was To Much Info. But It Helps To Talk About It With You All& I Havent Got Any Friends Except My Dh. I Thought I Had Some Friends ,but All They Ever Wanted From Me Was To Use Me. I Decided It Would Be Better For Me To Not Have Anyone To Talk To Then To Have Someone Talk To That Asks Me For Money All The Time. Take Care Ladies!

I had my LAVH on 1/23. Never have I had any endo, pain, menstrual problems, etc. (Had my hyster due to uterine and cervical cancer). Now, I have healing pains daily, nothing huge, but a pretty constant aching and cramping feeling, whether I am sitting, walking, laying down, anything! Sometimes no pain at all, but no 100% pain free days.
So, I never had any pain before, now I do. It is getting better, but just not fast enough for my liking!
Don't get discouraged, even us ladies that had zero pain before, are feeling it now!!
Hope you feel better soon!

Ahhh, ok - i'm sorry you're having the same symptoms - but am glad i'm not the only one!! I was starting to get worried, but knowing that some of you are experiencing the same things - it makes me feel better, for sure. Thanks a bunch.

what are you doing during the day? if you have been doing heavy tasks since week 3 or 4 it is likely that you have big time swelly belly which will give you a whole lot of aching/pressure. take it easy, slow back, you will be okay in the end.
I too like you are very glad I did this
God bless
Well, I think that may be part of it. I actually had to go back to work after 2 weeks. I DONT recommend that for anyone - it was/has been brutal. Although I work a lot from home, it's just like being in an office - and it was just too much. I really think you are right - just doing too much, too soon - and gotta relax a bit.

Just thought I would let you know that you are not alone. I hope that we all start to fell normal soon.

Thanks, Cujetskiin - it's nice to know that we're all kind of feeling the same. I just had a couple friends say that it might take up to 6mths to feel really good, but i'm hoping it won't be that long! Hope you feel better soon too.
