Stupidest Question Ever

It's not a stupid question. I wish I would have thought of it, so I would have known what to expect. After the first time, I stood up and felt it immediately come out. I freaked at first. My first reaction was that it was blood until I looked down. Yep, now its either tissues or a towel in the wings.

Stupidest Question Ever

This is hilarious!! My Dr is known for saying what is on her mind and truly feels like everything medically related is fascinating. She's close to my age and after seeing her for over six years she's like a friend now too.

Before surgery at my pre-op she asked my DH a question about whether he could tell that intercourse was painful for me and he about died. She apologized as she could feel the tension and changed the subject. My DH was so embarrassed it was funny. When she was explaining the surgery with detachable models of our organs I told her it was pretty disgusting to think about, she replied with "I think it's soooo cool!" Very funny.

Sooo. . . I'm glad I don't have to ask her this question. I'm bringing my DH with me to the post-op tomorrow and I think he might have just about died again!!! Ha!

Ok I just read the link - looks like we'll be getting a bedside table to keep tissues in the near future! Ha! TMI - sorry!

Stupidest Question Ever

This was such a good question. I was never able to use contraceptive pills. DH had a vasectomy and, as an added precaution, we used condoms, so I never had to worry about cleaning any mess :-) It didn't occur to me that now things are going to be different. I am looking forward to the freedom of sex without being afraid of getting pregnant, so I will make sure to have a towel handy.

Stupidest Question Ever

Bless you for asking that. When I was "allowed to", I was so curious of that and of course I found out with buckled knees - crouching tiger position.. : . Just a note, we keep baby wipes (the soft cheap ones) in the night stand along with hand towels for quick access. Please know this was a GREAT question to ask.... I wish I had known a few months ago.
