Me too!
My doctor said it is normal and will last a while. It takes time for everything to get back in place.

Yeah mine hurts too! I think it could have something to do with that catheter they had in there.

I had the same pain for about 5 weeks after surgery... I also noticed that it was harder to empty my bladder if my bowels were not empty. The doctor said that it was probably due to the cathedar and trauma from being moved. I did have him test for a UTI just to be safe. The past two weeks have been much better.

Hang in there!

Hi
I had several days after the catheder was removed before I felt that the stream of urine was normal and that it didn't feel like things would fall out. If you notice any change in urine color or smell, or if you get a fever....you may have an infection.
All of our muscles of the pelvic floor could benefit from strengthening as part of our post op exercise. Kegel exercises are of benefit. One of the easiest ways to 'find' those muscles is to try to stop the flow of urine as you are going and then relax and let it start again. Sound silly but it helped me.

Owwww! I know what your saying. I had a very invasive endometriosis that required TAH with everything out- Dr. says because my bowels and bladder had to be manipulted and pried apart from the disease that it is very very tender and will take some time. Happy to say after 5 weeks it doesn't hurt as bad. It gets better. hang in there!
