Vaginal hysterectomy: TVH 10/23 and painful sex this far out?

I had sex the other day and omg the pain! I'm a few months out and I'm so boggled on why it would hurt. I had to take 3 extra strength tylenol just to get it to touch the pain. At the risk of TMI it wasn't even crazy rough sex (sorry if thats TMI) But it was really sore. And then I even spotted.

Do ya think that's normal?? Now I had sex once since then and I was fine although we were really cautious. I just get afraid like stuff is broken.

Any other October sisters still having occasional pain?

Yep, Me! It was fine at first, the the last few week....OWWWW! I went to the Dr. and he found an exposed nerve that needs to be cauterized. Also had an ultrasound and found a 3 cm cyst on my right ovary that he may end up removing. I would suggest calling your Dr. You never know what's going on down there. I was all paranoid thinking it was all in my head. Turns out there really was a problem. It's still real painful, but we are waiting a few more weeks for another ultrasound to see what he plans to do about both problems.

Hi-

Do get it checked, it could also be granulation, which can cause bleeding and pain. We were fine the first few weeks after getting the OK, then started having spotting. PA kept asking if there was pain as well, but for me there wasn't (though it can cause it as well). It won't take care of itself though, so do get it checked.
Take care!

I'm not October, just a little ways behind you though. I have to say I've been hesitant to call the doctor also. I keep thinking this is all going to go away if I deny it long enough. For me, its just this one spot on the cuff that feels like a nasty papercut. I could probably get past that, but it feels like both ovaries are encased in cement and that really hurts! I told myself I'd wait until 3 months and then call the doctor, now I'm totally chickening out. I'm where you were, sweetbeetle, before you got the courage to call. What if there is nothing and it is all in my head? Worse yet, what if I need another surgery? I simply don't think I could do a third surgery in 9 months!

I'm sorry you are having pain, barelysane. I hope you can get an answer from your doctor. Sweetbeetle, I'm glad that your doctor found what was causing your pain and can help you. Good luck to both of you!
