I have been sleeping in the upstairs guestroom to make sure I dont disturb my Dh with the insomnia and trying to get comfy he has to get up for work real early. Last night I woke up with a bad dream grabbed my blnky and my pillow and went and crawled in bed with my hubby who instently woke up to see if I was OK told him I had a bad dream and felt like a small child til he wrapped me up and snuggled me back to sleep

bad dreams anyone?

I have been having crazy dreams. Most recently about how I was screaming and crying at my doctor over him not explaining everything to me. I have started to read a book about recording dreams(Bernie Seigal) and trying to see what they mean. I look forward to recording them and talking to hubby about it.

I have a lot of bad dreams post-op and they seem a lot more vivid too. The last 3 nights have been ones of falling...

bad dreams anyone?

I've been having bad dreams to. I dreamed that DH forgot to lock the back door the other night...I got up to go lock it and someone busted through on me. I woke myself up trying to yell but couldn't. I attribute it to the meds.

bad dreams anyone?

I've been having all kinds of weird dreams too. I think it's all the cat naps. I always dream weird during cat naps. The weirdest one has been that I was driving home on a viaduct that goes along the Seattle waterfront and my car literally fell apart all around me while I was driving. Weird.

bad dreams anyone?

Oh, man! I have had some doozies since surgery. One night was so bad, that I was afraid to fall back to sleep. I kept dreaming that something, not someone, was trying to kill me. It was even trying to take over my body and make me do it to myself! But lucky for me, DH and my dogs were there to me. He says he doesn't remember it, but his comfort was just what I needed to settle me down that night.

The dreams are still pretty wierd, but not as intense as that one night.

I have also had some pretty weird dreams. Most of them don't even make sense. The second night home, which was three days after my surgery, I was having some killer cramps from all the gas. When I finally got to sleep, I dreamed that I had to go back in the hospital so that the doctor could do another surgery to remove the gas because it wouldn't get out of my body.

bad dreams anyone?

I always have very vivid dreams, but the first few weeks after my surgery, the dreams were very strange and almost felt real. I kept dreaming about being lost in a hospital where no one would help me (left over emotions from my TERRIBLE stay at the "castle"). I also had lots of science fiction style dreams... I think due to the pain medication and night sweats.

I had some real whoppers the first few weeks out of surgery. Then I stated having work related nightmares....I guess anticipating the return. Now it's not so bad. It might be related to the meds.
