My belly button

hurts. They removed my sutures this morning and now my belly button hurts. There was one stitch down in there and when it was removed, boy did that smart! Didn't exactly feel great when the others were removed, but the belly button one stung!

Sorry bean_dog! I too had one that was tight up near the belly button and it stung too! Aren't you glad that they are out now?! Best of luck to you with your recovery...make sure you take time for you and get plenty of rest!

My belly button

I didn't have stitches in any of my incisions..they used the glue and strips. But my belly button incision is still tender to the touch. I just don't get why they can't do it a 1/2 inch lower than the belly button and not right in it? How about the rest of your incisions..are they still bruised? The bruising seems to be taking forever to heal.

My belly button

Oh, yes. I am still bruised. Funny thing is when the doc was checking my incisions after the nurse removed the sutures, he made a comment about the tell tale bruising. And I told him, "Well, what do you expect when you beat me up?" Good thing he has a good sense of humor.
