Pain in my back and lower belly

I had my hysterectomy 1 year ago. I kept my ovaries. I am now experiencing pain in my lower back that feels like cramps. I am having cramp like tinges in my lower belly left and right side. I am not sure if its the ovaries. I dont know if they drop after you have a hysterectomy. I had intercourse last night after a week. I was sore from that as well. I have had this pain for nearly a month or two. I thought that maybe my ovaries were waking up. I have called my regular doc and told him what was going on. He has scheduled me to go back to my gynocologist. I have a appt this coming Wed 2/6. I am scared. The nurse told me it could possibly be a cyst or endometosis. Any help here would be great. i am very nervous and scared at this momment. I am not having any problems with my bowels or kidneys at the momment either. Thanks for listening

Pain in my back and lower belly

I had an ultrasound a couple of weeks ago that showed a 3cm cyst on my right ovary. The only symptom I had was pain during intercourse. Now, I have constant pelvic, back, flank pain, etc. A stabbing sensation every once in a while. Pain down my bottom and thigh. Nauseated constantly. I think mine is growing. We are watchful waiting for a couple more weeks. My doc never said anything about removing my ovary, just said that he may have to go in to remove the cyst. All I know is that I'm starting to get aggrivated because I'm always uncomfortable now.

I'm thinking it possible it is a cyst that you have. Hopefully your doctor gives you an ultrasound to find out for sure. My doc said most of them go away on thier own, but sometimes they do hormone therapy, or cystectomy. I can't have hormones, so if mine doesn't go away, he'll probably do the cystectomy. Which scares me half to death. They'll have to stop the blood thinners in order to do surgery. I think I'm more worried about that than anything. Don't need another PE.

Anyway, your not alone. I've read quite a few posts about cysts on here. Hopefully everything goes well for you.
