I am on Vivelle dot .05 (next to lowest dose). I get the feeling from reading the threads that this may or may not be helpful in the pain area.

Ann (a-new-life), Thank you so very much for your sweet words and prayers. Who knew your uterus was attatched to your left arm? LOL I just hope the orthopedic dr can do something. I taught aerobics for 25 years and have pulled just about every muscle in my body, have arthritis, fascitis, tendonitis and have torn my rotator cuff but have NEVER had pain like this. I am so glad to have this site to chat with all of you that are going thru similiar stuff. I try everything you all suggest- Glucosamine/chondritin, fish oils, epsom salts, I am up to try anything. Thanks again. I needed to hear from someone today- it helps. I'm on a low dose hrt. Someone suggested upping my dose. Loves and kisses, Sandi

muscle and joint pain

it will get better,i got so i couldnt put a shirt over my head any more or fasten my bra. google frozen shoulder and do the exercises for that. it helped me a lot . i was taking the 500 mg fish oil capsules, omega 3 and now my joints feel better than they did before the surgery. i now take the fish oil 1000 mg with omega 3-6-9.maybe it was going to get better anyway, i dont know but i feel that the fish oil helped a lot.i still have trouble with squating down, my muscles still have some weakness to them but i feel that is more of a hormone issue and i am only on vagifem for dryness, take care

thank you so much for the info. I think if I KNEW it is going to get better, I could relax and live with it. Getting dressed is a struggle for sure. I will google the exercises. I am taking the fish oil and Omega but maybe not enough? Thanks again. Sandi

Thank you all for your suggestions of supplements that will help with the aching joints.

I asked the pharmacist today about the Omega 3 and condroitin/glucosamine supplements. She checked carefully to find out the interactions with the meds I'm on. There are some things to watch out for, so just wanted to mention it so others don't take these OTC supplements with anything that will be a problem. I'm good to try them so tomorrow I'll start. Here's hoping they work.

Hope you all have a great week!
