Week 13 and so much pain (Long)

I'm so happy that you have this info now. Just to have the confirmation is so important and I know how that feels. I'm waiting to see a second doctor this coming Monday to find out what is going on with me.
Did the doctor say what could be done about your cysts...especially since they are causing so much pain?
Hugs to you and hope that you feel well soon.

I knew it wasn't in your head and at the same time I'm sorry they found a problem. Did your Dr say how they would resolve the issue of the cysts?

Let me know and hugs to you,

For the next 6 weeks, I'm supposed to take OCPs to see if they will shrink or go away. I'll have another ultrasound at 6 weeks and we'll go from there. My doctor really left it up to me, although I know he was hoping I would choose to try the OCPs first. He's big on alternatives to surgery, and I have to say I just wasn't quite ready to jump into a 3rd surgery in 10 months. You are my heroine, Starbgirl (not that you jumped in but that you were so brave)! Given that the OCPs didn't work for a past cyst, I don't really expect success this time either. I guess it's worth trying, however.

Oral contraceptive pills or birth control pills.

I'd say you were pretty brave, choice or no choice!

Oh - OK. Well here's hoping there can be a non-surgical fix. And you know what, even *if* there has to be another surgery we will both find our way past it. I keep telling myself this. I made it through two and if there has to be three, I'll get through that also!!

I just hope the pain for you can be cleared soon, because being in pain stinks!!

let me know how it goes,

Starbgirl
