Lightheadedness, Dizziness, Feeling Faint at 4 weeks post-op

Just thought I would let everyone know that I woke up the next day feeling fine. So, I am not sure what was going on. It is weird how my days go post-op. One day on top of the world and the next is awful. And it changes so often! haha

Thanks to all who responded.

I am 4wks out this coming Tues (Jan 22 TVH) and I have been dizzy and nauseated since surgery. Some days are better then others and I chalked it up to the pain meds. Well I am off all meds and I am still having nausea. I am feeling fine just tired an was anemic beffore surgery but I doubt it is that. have you found an answer yet???

Lightheadedness, Dizziness, Feeling Faint at 4 weeks post-op

I don't know if this will help but I had breast cancer 7 years ago and had MAJOR surgery which left me very sick to my stomach for weeks. Even with the anti nausea meds. I couldn't eat anything nor did I want to because of the sick feeling. Smells were the worse!!! I lost 35 pounds and was starting to have migraine headaches. My mom got me the liquid drinks (not sure if I'm allowed to say the name) that are a meal in a can. I was able to slowly start on them and within 2 weeks as I started to get stronger I was ready to eat solid foods again. So, if you keep feeling yucky, you could try this to at least keep your strength up. I was sick feeling the first 1 1/2 weeks out from my hysterectomy but start to feel better and forced myself to eat. I didn't want to go where I had gone before. Hope you are all feeling better soon.
