I am so sorry to hear all of this is happening to you starbgirl! Wow! I will be praying that the Lord touches you and that your recovery time is quick. Having gone through 2 surgeries myself and 2 abdominal incisions, it does take time. But as long as you pamper yourself and take it very easy...you will feel better sooner rather than later. Hang in there and keep us posted.

P.S. My CT showed no abcesses...so I'm praying that this doesn't happen to me. I too, like you had a hematoma and a pelvic infection. Yikes!

Thanks everyone for all you kind words! I knew you would all make me feel better. I feel like even though I knew alot, I have alot to learn with having my latest incision abdominal. Mine is like 7 inches long or so. My belly is very swolen. I don't really like how the morphine makes me feel but becasue I am still NPO I guess there isn't another choice for me currently.

Thanks again for all yout hugs,

Starbgirl

Just wanted to send you a hug and to let you know that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. It seems that you have had more than your fair share of complications. I pray that this will finally be the end of all your pain and suffering and that you will feel nothing but wonderful from here on out. Please take care of yourself and know that you are cared for.

Gentle hugs Starb...so sorry you are so poorly - you were one of the first people that I recognised on this site, and appreciated your posts.

I had a smiley face, and it healed in a week. It was stitched with twine, which was removed after 8 days in one go...cool.

Since then, kept it dry, and now using cocoa butter on it. Sometimes it feels a bit hot.

Think it's still what's on the inside which takes the time to heal, so take it easy...and hope you feel better soon.
