Dead Vagina!

[quote=goghfish89]I think the olive oil you mentioned may have caused you an infection. We are not supposed to use oil-based lubricants. It can change the ph inside the vagina, causing infections. We are only supposed to use water-based lubricants, like KY jelly.

Thanks for the input. Either I'm going crazy or I've just read too many things to keep it all straight but I swear I read something on here that recommended olive oil and vit E oil.?

Vaginal estrogen is wonderful for helping to keep the vaginal tissues elastic and moist.

:hang: Hang in there and try not to fret. Not all sexual problems are permanent. Work with your doctor to help get things back to normal for you and your DH.

That is the most comforting thing I've heard. I think when it went dead, I just panicked. It was the oddest thing to happen to me so far. I was afraid that once it shriveled, it would never get back to normal. I can't believe how little I knew about my own body prior to all this. I'm 45! Thanks so much for nailing it for me.

Dead Vagina!

We had AWESOME intimacy when we resumed then....the dryness and tight feeling....he was in heaven- me, not so much. I bought lube- but it was still kind of dry. All of the sudden, things were OK again.

While I never lost feeling, I did find that "O'ing" was difficult for a period- I am not as quick as I used to be, but it's getting better.

I hope all returns to normal soon (hugs)
